Astral parts with Shangri-la Glastonbury.

After 15 years of tireless support & investment  at #shangri-la & lost vagueness #glastonburyfestival we are informed that our services are no longer required. Clearly we are all very disappointed with the apparent lack of appreciation especially after continuing support after huge personal losses at LPG & taking the event to a nomination for a #KOIawards

However I'm really exited about being free to peruse other possibilities & support new #creative & #artistic venture during the #festival or indeed elsewhere during that week- a privilege I've not had due to my loyalty to the event over the last 15 years. 

It's that time of year again-  my corporate & foreign jaunts have served me well & I'm now once again able to look at getting involved in daring & #creativeprojects at #festivals & events again.

I'm particularly interested in those that are forward thinking & daring in the extreme & that just want to do something outstanding just for the sake of it.

We'll, I've been waiting in anticipation all year to see what everybodies favourite field at the worlds best festival has to offer. 

Geurilla science are back with this years offering ,"Harvey Nipples" and love bullets are are back again, can wait to see what their offering is.

Shangri-La is back with a vengeance for 2014 & I, for one, am delighted to be back.

The emphasis this year is on ART & there are some outstanding pieces to be commissioned & lit. This will create a huge art gallery open to the public, day & night though out the festival.

You'll be able to come to the coolest after hours space at the greatest arts festival in the world & be surrounded by  accessible works by respected artists 24/7 - thats exiting. - right in the middle of Glastonbury festival.

Team Astral will create a huge kinetic #lightart sculpture that will inhabit the space, above, about & beyond the other artworks. It will envelope all the artwork in a #fieldoflight.

No interactive, immersive,experiential artspeak,

just a really cool place to be, experience, & inhabit  -because we can

I cant wait to hit Worthy Farm later this month & make this one real.
